The Sentry — UK lone worker safety platform for estate agents and letting agencies

We're pleased to announce the launch of the new thesentry.co.uk — a complete redesign and rebuild of the website for The Sentry, the UK's only lone worker safety platform built specifically for the property sector.

About The Sentry

Established in 2019 and based in Ramsgate, Kent, The Sentry was created to solve a pressing but frequently overlooked problem in the UK property industry: the safety of estate agents, letting agents, and property managers who regularly conduct viewings, inspections, and client meetings alone.

The numbers make for uncomfortable reading. 150 lone workers are attacked daily in the UK. 82% of property agents report that their safety is not taken seriously enough by their employer. And 53% of estate agencies operate without any formal lone worker policy — a position that is now legally indefensible.

A Changing Legal Landscape

The Worker Protection Act 2023 and the Employment Rights Act 2025 have fundamentally changed what employers are required to do. The legal burden has shifted from reactive to proactive — employers must now anticipate and actively prevent harm, not simply respond after the fact.

Employers who fail to take proactive preventative steps face a +25% tribunal uplift on harassment awards, with the average award currently standing at £53,403. From October 2026, employers also face liability for third-party harassment of staff. The Sentry provides direct, documented evidence against the three most scrutinised steps of the EHRC's 8-step compliance framework.

The Brief

The Sentry needed a new website that could cut through the noise in a compliance-heavy market, clearly communicate the scale of the legal risk facing property employers, and convert visitors into demo bookings. The old site was no longer doing justice to the product or the urgency of the problem it solves.

The key challenge was balancing two audiences simultaneously: operations and HR leaders who need a clear compliance case, and agency owners who need to understand cost and deployment speed. The new site needed to speak credibly to both without losing either.

What We Built

Hello Leads designed and developed a performance-first website that leads with the legal and regulatory risk — because that is what drives urgency and action for this audience. The site makes the Worker Protection Act 2023 and Employment Rights Act 2025 implications impossible to ignore, then walks visitors through how The Sentry addresses them.

Key features of the new site include:

  • Compliance-first homepage structure — the legal risk is front and centre, with specific reference to the Worker Protection Act 2023, the Employment Rights Act 2025, and the EHRC 8-step framework
  • Clear product feature pages covering the one-touch panic alarm, live GPS location sharing, silent distress signal, automatic video capture on alarm activation, whistleblowing-compliant incident reporting, and the Friends & Family licence
  • Competitive pricing transparency — The Sentry at £39.50 per user per year is positioned directly against StaySafe, Safepoint, and Vatix, with a clear value case for property agencies of all sizes
  • Demo booking flow — a frictionless path from landing to booked call, with no hardware, no IT integration, and a promise of deployment in under one hour
  • Compliance resource hub — dedicated guides for the Worker Protection Act 2023 and Employment Rights Act 2025, building authority and organic search presence for high-intent compliance queries
  • Social proof integration — testimonials from named property professionals including a board director for Propertymark, adding immediate credibility with the target audience
  • Structured data and full SEO foundation — every page built with schema markup, canonical URLs, and metadata optimised for the lone worker safety and property compliance search landscape

The Result

The new thesentry.co.uk replaces a site that undersold both the severity of the compliance risk and the quality of the product. The rebuild positions The Sentry as the authoritative choice for property sector lone worker safety — not just another app, but the only platform built specifically for estate agents and letting agencies, at a price point that makes non-compliance genuinely hard to justify.

With the October 2026 compliance deadline approaching, the timing of the new site is deliberate. Property agencies researching their obligations now need to land on a site that immediately demonstrates expertise, builds trust, and makes booking a demo feel like the obvious next step.

"The new site finally does justice to what we've built. Hello Leads understood the compliance angle immediately and built a site that speaks to agency owners in a language they can't ignore. We've already seen an uplift in demo bookings since going live." — The Sentry
